"All Sun And Little White Flowers proves that you can't tie Larry Holden down. This guy cannot be pigeon-holed. He will always surprise you. With this film he throws us into a world of pain and joy and innocence and betrayal to tell a story that is hilarious, haunting and painfully intimate. To put it more succinctly; it is the most emotionally complex film he has made to date. Holden's writing, editing, and directing evolve with each film and here they are flat out brilliant. The film breathes and flows in a way that allows us to study what is being presented instead offorcing it down our throats. To do such a thing is a delicate balancing act, but he pulls it off without a hitch. His cast helps him accomplish all of this of course; every performance big and small adds something unique to the tapestry being woven. This is also his most visually stunning film. It has, I dare say, almost a noirish aesthetic at times and is certainly one of the more beautiful looking independent films you will see this year. The bottom line is you will not find anyone on planet earth putting out films like Larry Holden. Downtime has been accepted into the Minneapolis Underground Film Festival.
It is happening August 29th-30th.

Rome International Film Festival

Downtime has been accepted into the Rome International Film Festival.
The Festival is from September 4th - 7th in Rome, GA.
Downtime will play at 7 P.M on Friday Night.
