The movie is almost finished... for real. We are about to start sending it out to festivals and in an effort to raise some funds for that (going to cost us about $2000 for our festival campaign... entry fees etc.) and to create some buzz we are going to do a DVD pre-sell.

Your DVD will be shipped as soon as I get my first batch of DVD's. This should be no later than September, but hopefully much sooner. * There has been some confusion about whether you will have to pay more when the film is released. NO! Pay now and get the DVD when it is released.

Do not feel guilty if you go the $5 route. I am honored to sell it for so cheap honestly and hopefully one day we can afford to sell them all for so little.

A COCKROACH NAMED HENRY is a glimpse into the life of Henry Densmore, a man that has become discontent with his daily existence. After work one day he buys a gun, empties his bank account and holes up in a motel room waiting for the courage to end it all. The only thing he didn't plan for was his dysfunctional family caring enough to intervene. He can only sit and listen as they bumble, vomit, and scream their way back into his life. Henry is forced to climb out of the bed he's made for himself and deal with his father, sister and even a lovely young Christian woman named Ruth (who has a heart of gold) as they all try their hardest to save him.

"All Sun And Little White Flowers proves that you can't tie Larry Holden down. This guy cannot be pigeon-holed. He will always surprise you. With this film he throws us into a world of pain and joy and innocence and betrayal to tell a story that is hilarious, haunting and painfully intimate. To put it more succinctly; it is the most emotionally complex film he has made to date. Holden's writing, editing, and directing evolve with each film and here they are flat out brilliant. The film breathes and flows in a way that allows us to study what is being presented instead offorcing it down our throats. To do such a thing is a delicate balancing act, but he pulls it off without a hitch. His cast helps him accomplish all of this of course; every performance big and small adds something unique to the tapestry being woven. This is also his most visually stunning film. It has, I dare say, almost a noirish aesthetic at times and is certainly one of the more beautiful looking independent films you will see this year. The bottom line is you will not find anyone on planet earth putting out films like Larry Holden. All Sun And Little White Flowers proves that he continues to be a fierce and singular voice in the world of independent cinema. I loved this movie and have watched it too many times to count. Minneapolis Underground Film Festival

Downtime has been accepted into the Minneapolis Underground Film Festival.
It is happening August 29th-30th.

Rome International Film Festival

Downtime has been accepted into the Rome International Film Festival.
The Festival is from September 4th - 7th in Rome, GA.
Downtime will play at 7 P.M on Friday Night.
